Augusta's Miniature Dachshund Family
Cherokee Hill Dachshunds is a small, family-run breeding program based in Augusta, Georgia. We specialize exclusively in miniature dachshunds — smooth and long-haired — raised inside our home alongside our three children and pack of beloved dogs.
This is our full-time passion and our family's calling. My husband and I are both fully committed to producing healthy, well-socialized puppies that will genuinely steal the hearts of the families they go to — because that's exactly what these dogs do.
We are proud to be certified by Good Dog and to work exclusively with families who share our values around the care, health, and longevity of these incredible little dogs.

It All Started with
Jellyman
I've been breeding since I was 13 years old. I started with Boston Terriers and spent about eight years learning, growing, and falling deeper in love with the craft. After a stint with Cane Corsos — which was a chapter I learned a lot from — I took a step back for a few years.
Then, on my birthday, I got a dachshund. We named him Jellyman. And that was it — I was done for. I fell completely in love with this breed in a way I hadn't experienced before. I started researching everything, built my program, and I honestly can't picture my life without them now.
Today I'm 24, my husband is 26, and we have three kids. Our lives are never dull — and that's exactly how we like it. Running Cherokee Hill Dachshunds full-time means we get to give our dogs the world and still be home with our kids every single day.
It's a lot of work. It's also the greatest blessing I could ask for. I love producing puppies that will steal the hearts of families just the way Jellyman stole mine.

I am very particular about the families I work with — and that's intentional. Every puppy we produce deserves a home that is truly ready for them. We ask questions, we screen, and we do face-to-face or phone calls before any approval. That process protects the puppy and it protects you.
This isn't a transaction. It's a relationship that starts before the puppy comes home and lasts for the life of the dog. We make it easy, comfortable, and fun — because that's how it should be.

Every Cherokee Hill puppy is backed by our 2-year genetic health guarantee covering life-threatening hereditary conditions. If a covered condition is diagnosed, we will replace your puppy with one of equal value. We stand fully behind every puppy we produce.
